The Zimbabwean music industry is in mourning following reports of the untimely death of Barnabas Mandipota, a longtime vocalist and instrumentalist with Orchestra Mberikwazvo.

Mandipota, affectionately known to fans as “Barna,” was a dedicated member of the group led by sungura legend Alick Macheso.
